In fact, the crazy thing is that a few times in the past 15 years people have said to us, "Don't you guys have a daughter?" Well no, we didn't have daughters. Yet.
Where we stand now is a bit crazy and exciting. Which is why we love following after God's heart!! We worked all summer on our home study. It was met with numerous delays, mostly due to weird things with the agency. But we finally finished it the beginning of September. It was sent to get state approval and then we sent it off to the Department of Homeland Security 3 weeks ago to get our immigration approval for the girls.
Right after we sent it off we got a call from our international agency in
Oregon that our Colorado agency screwed up big time and they are having to pull
our application out of immigration and make some changes because of Moldova
requirements. Crazy. This does not really phase us in the least because we are
living in promise and God is writing a tremendous story filled with His
redemption. We have actually been told that we are the best family our agency
has worked with due to our levels of peace and easy goingness (not a word but
true).
All of us are on a grand adventure with God and ours is taking us to Moldova. Our desire is to see more clearly with our eyes closed than with our eyes opened. We want God to forcefully advance His kingdom in this country. We want to continue to see Him do things that defy explanation and leave us in wonder. We are so undone by how amazing He is. We adore Him!
